We are seeking an experienced leader to play a key role in shaping the future of education.


The Role

This position will lead the development and implementation of academic frameworks, ensuring seamless alignment with educational strategy and quality standards.

You will work closely with stakeholders to drive educational initiatives that empower students to excel academically and personally.


Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Envision and articulate a compelling future for education, formulating clear goals, leading your team toward success through thoughtful decision making, effective communication, and adaptability.
  • Human Resource Management: Ensure the implementation of appropriate human resource management policies, programs, and strategies to foster a productive and cooperative working environment.
  • Future Focused: Support the design of learning programs for current and future knowledge and skills needs, providing learning opportunities as needed. Support students and educators with up-to-date innovations in pedagogy, learning techniques, and technologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality, engaging education by implementing assessment and evaluation strategies, monitoring academic progress, and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Industry and Community Relations: Develop and enhance relationships with industries, government agencies, employer groups, and communities. Identify emerging trends and developments and communicate this information to stakeholders to position TAFE SA as leaders in learning.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- An undergraduate degree in Adult or Vocational Education, and

- A Diploma in Management (Min AQF5) or a Graduate Certificate in Management
Or

- Undergraduate degrees in both Adult or Vocational Education and Management
- Undergraduate Degree and formal Post Graduate qualifications in Adult or Vocational Education and Management
