About the Role:

The Skills SA education ecosystem connects industries, employers, and training providers with South Australians.

Our services improve education outcomes by supporting every child towards their aspirations.

Working with stakeholders, Skills SA plays a key role in matching employment demands with training, ensuring employers access skilled workers and supporting South Australians to get quality training and build careers.

As the Quality and Compliance Officer, you will be part of the Contract Quality and Compliance Team based in Adelaide.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of South Australia's publicly funded vocational education and training market.

You will work with private registered training organisations to assess and monitor the provision of vocational education and training services.

This includes assisting providers to meet contractual obligations and public funds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice on compliance and business processes.
  • Offer information and advice to key stakeholders, including registered training organisations and other service providers.
  • Plan and implement audit procedures to support quality outcomes and continuous improvement.

Key Competencies:

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A strong knowledge of state and national vocational education and training systems and structures.
  • Good knowledge of quality systems, assessment/auditing principles, and practices, and continuous improvement.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and sound interpersonal capacity to effectively liaise with people from various backgrounds and levels.
  • The ability to work independently, successfully achieve deadlines, manage competing work tasks, and contribute effectively as a member of a mutually accountable team.
  • Initiative and motivation to continuously improve policies and business practices.

Remuneration:

Competitive salary $85,790 min - $95,413 max pa plus superannuation.
