Native Title Paralegal

The role of Native Title Paralegal involves assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive legal service to support traditional owners pursue their native title rights and interests.

  • Assist under the guidance of a qualified legal practitioner in researching case law and claim groups, performing transcription duties, filing and serving court documents, drafting correspondence and newsletters, and attending meetings and conferences.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to assist in the planning and development, implementation, monitoring, and review of client management plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ability to meet competing deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Able and willing to undertake regular travel throughout Queensland
