Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Hydrogen Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the HRIS uplift project, leveraging your analytical and communication skills to drive business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with P&C teams, HR technology suites, and developing project plans and stakeholder tasks across portfolios.

About the Role

This is a 6-month contract with extensions, offering a competitive salary of $92,500 - $105,000 per annum, including superannuation. The successful candidate will be based in Sydney and will work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third Party members to deliver a fit-for-purpose solution.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and document requirements by analyzing business systems, processes, and user needs to create user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Manage stakeholders by engaging, informing, and negotiating to elicit and validate requirements and prioritize them.
  • Analyze documents, programs, logic, process flows, and specifications, and model requirements using techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, and business rules.
  • Ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritized based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring that the most critical items are delivered first.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third Party members to ensure everyone understands business requirements to develop a fit-for-purpose solution.
Requirements
  • Experience in working with P&C teams and HR technology suites such as HRIS or LMS.
  • Ability to work on and collaborate between multiple programs of work.
  • Document key initiative dependencies and map them to benefits.
  • Develop, track, and follow up on project plans and stakeholder tasks across the portfolio.
  • Project management documentation and coordination skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, computer science) or equivalent experience.
