Kronos Implementation Senior Business Analyst Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to assist with the implementation of Kronos, a leading HRIS system. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, managing stakeholders, analysing and modelling business systems, and ensuring the delivery of a fit-for-purpose solution.

About the Role

  • Gathering and documenting requirements: Identify, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes, and user needs into clear and concise requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform, and negotiate with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them.
  • Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows, and specifications. Model requirements using techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Managing the requirements lifecycle: Prioritise requirements/user stories based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring the most critical items are delivered first.
  • Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers, and Third-Party members within the product/platform/project team to ensure everyone understands business requirements.
  • Risk and issue management: Identify risks and issues, develop effective mitigation/management strategies, and communicate risk assessments and plans to stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience working with P&C teams.
  • HRIS systems experience, particularly with Kronos.
  • Ability to work on multiple programs and collaborate between them.
  • Documentation skills to capture key initiative dependencies and map them to benefits.
  • Project planning and coordination skills.
  • Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services (desirable).
  • Understanding of business functionality, complexity, and interdependencies.
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations.
  • Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem-solving, issues management, and evaluation skills.
  • Experience with modelling techniques, such as BPMN, data flow diagrams, UML, SIPOC, and value stream analysis.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and reporting/presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritise workloads.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated at $760 per week ($39,520 per annum) + super, making it an attractive opportunity for experienced Senior Business Analysts. We offer a competitive compensation package and opportunities for career growth and development.
