Transforming Finance with Expertise

You will be a vital member of the Advisory and Governance team, driving key initiatives and governance within Macquarie's Financial Management Group. Our team is dedicated to delivering value to stakeholders, including senior leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst and Governance Specialist to join our high-performing advisory function. Your role will involve supporting the implementation of diverse, highly visible initiatives, partnering with teams across Finance and the broader Macquarie group to develop commercial solutions while managing risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the implementation of group-wide policies and frameworks within Finance
  • Developing high-quality Board Audit Committee reporting
  • Assisting other Finance initiatives in an advisory capacity
  • Oversight and uplifting of the Finance control environment

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications
  • 2-3+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably within financial services or professional services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing tasks to execute on key deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with and influence stakeholders across all levels

Salary: Approximately AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
