As a Retail Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of centres to ensure optimal performance and investment return. This includes managing key relationships with tenants and service providers, making recommendations to improve overall performance, and controlling costs and expenditure.

Job Description
  • Oversee the operations and risk management of a portfolio of centres to ensure optimum investment return.
  • Manage key relationships with tenants and service providers to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations to improve the overall performance of assets, including budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure building compliance is proactively managed to adhere to all legislative requirements at all times.
  • Undertake regular re-tendering of service contracts, reviewing specifications and role requirements to consider best practice.
  • Perform daily on-site contractor management to maintain high standards of presentation and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Review monthly operating expenditure against budget and work with the Centre General Manager to produce client reports as required.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of shopping centre operations.
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise.
  • Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
