Job Overview

The Retail Centre Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a retail portfolio, ensuring optimal investment returns.

This role involves managing relationships with tenants and service providers to enhance overall performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Compliance Management: Ensuring legislative requirements are consistently met across all retail centres.
  • Contract Renewal: Regularly reviewing and renegotiating service contracts to ensure best value.
  • Site Management: Proactively managing contractors on-site to maintain high standards of presentation and safety.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Developing strong relationships with stakeholders, including tenants, clients, and colleagues.
  • Operational Efficiency: Reviewing monthly operating expenditure and collaborating with centre managers to optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Ensuring planned preventative maintenance is executed according to schedules, with all plant and equipment maintained to the highest standards.
