Job Overview

The Centre Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of retail facilities to ensure optimal performance and returns.

This includes managing key relationships with tenants, service providers, and stakeholders to improve overall centre performance and control costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage building compliance to meet legislative requirements.
  • Review and renegotiate service contracts to ensure best value for money.
  • Coordinate daily on-site contractor activities.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, security, maintenance, and safety.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor monthly operating expenditure against budget targets.
  • Collaborate with Centre Managers to produce client reports as required.
  • Ensure planned preventative maintenance is executed according to schedules and equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Prioritise sustainability improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage capital expenditure projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role, with knowledge of shopping centre operations.
  • Strong time management skills, including multitasking and prioritisation.
  • Proficiency in using computer-based building maintenance and management systems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
