Thoroughbred Racing Executive Position

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our thoroughbred racing department as a thoroughbred racing executive.

About the Role:
  • Primary point of contact for thoroughbred owners and breeders ensuring prompt and professional responses to all enquiries and requests.
  • Provide VIP customer service for owners and breeders, facilitating requests seamlessly.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with owners and breeders to promote ongoing engagement with the Club.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the thoroughbred racing industry, including owner, breeder, and syndicator engagement. They will also have demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, client services, or relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage direct communication to owners with a horse competing at Caulfield, Sandown and Mornington race meetings in relation to race day privileges.
  • Represent the Club at relevant industry events, bloodstock auctions, stallion parades and trainer/syndicator open days as a visible and approachable ambassador for ownership engagement.
