The Melbourne Racing Club is proud to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Executive Liaison Officer to join our Racing Department on a full-time basis.

This role will be based at Caulfield Racecourse, where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to thoroughbred owners and breeders.

  • You will be the primary point of contact for thoroughbred owners and breeders, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all enquiries and requests.
  • You will provide VIP customer service for owners and breeders, facilitating requests seamlessly.
  • You will develop and sustain relationships with owners and breeders to promote ongoing engagement with the organization.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the racing team, stakeholders, and industry partners to deliver a world-class experience for owners and breeders.

As an Executive Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing direct communication to owners with a horse competing at Caulfield, Sandown and Mornington race meetings in relation to race day privileges (admission, members ticketing, hospitality and mounting yard access) and additional requests.
  • Representing the organization at relevant industry events, bloodstock auctions, stallion parades and trainer/syndicator open days as a visible and approachable ambassador for ownership engagement.
  • Working in partnership with the MRC's Marketing and Business Development teams to provide opportunities for owners and breeders to deepen their relationship with the organization.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
