Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to thoroughbred owners and breeders, ensuring prompt and professional responses to all enquiries and requests.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with owners and breeders to promote ongoing engagement with the racing industry.
  • Manage direct communication with owners regarding race day privileges, including admission, members ticketing, hospitality and mounting yard access.
  • Represent the club at relevant industry events, bloodstock auctions, stallion parades and trainer/syndicator open days as a visible ambassador for ownership engagement.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Strong understanding of the thoroughbred racing industry and an ability to rapidly acquire knowledge in this area.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, client services or relationship management, preferably within the racing, sporting, hospitality or events sectors.
  • Knowledge of Racing Victoria regulations and race day operations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. They will also be able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
