About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Food Service Business Development Manager, where you will play a key role in growing our market share in the Food Service sector in NSW.

You will be part of the team that executes channel strategies across all Food Service Channels on a state basis, partnering with National Business Managers, other National/State/Territory Account Managers, and the Category Team to build a portfolio of the future and deliver channel plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead a pipeline of business opportunities across all channels, utilising existing products, leveraging NPD opportunities, and developing customer bespoke products on a state basis.
  • Align cross-functionally with National Business Managers and other stakeholders to deliver optimum strategy for the channel.
  • Create sustainable business relationships with key state and End User groups, seeking opportunities for volume and value growth.
  • Gather, analyse, and implement in-market end-user and competitor intelligence.
  • Create and execute customer seasonal sales drivers to deliver incremental gross profit and Volume.
  • Review in-year plans and financial metrics, prioritising requirements based on risks and opportunities to meet calendar year financial budget.
  • Understand evolving trends of the channel and leverage trend and market insights to lead Category thinking within the channel.
  • Identify portfolio opportunities for growth and target new customers.
About You

We are looking for a driven and ambitious individual with 3+ years' experience as a Territory/State Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Business Development Manager in Foodservice. You should have strong cross-functional internal and external stakeholder management skills, demonstrated experience in managing difficult customer relationships and supply agreements, and experience working with new customers and developing relationships quickly.

The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain drivers and value chains within Foodservice. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
