About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Hotel Manager to lead our team at Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring seamless and profitable function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hotel Operations: Manage all facets of the property, including revenue management, recruiting & training, customer service, and achievement of financial targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team to ensure the hotel's profitability and success, fostering a culture of excellence and driving positive customer sentiment.
  • Strategic Planning: Drive changes and improvements in performance, implementing strategies in line with business objectives and maintaining excellent product and service standards.
  • Stakeholder Management: Create and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, guests, and regional shared services.
  • Financial Management: Maintain a keen eye on financial performance, maximizing revenue and balancing expenses.
  • Community Engagement: Act as a liaison within the local community, representing Accor and fostering community engagement.

Requirements

  • Hotel Management Experience: Prior General Manager experience and a deep understanding across a range of departments and stakeholder management is essential.
  • Strategic Thinking: Display confidence in your ability to cultivate strong relationships, effectively address challenging situations, and implement solutions that enhance service quality.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience and capability to drive financial growth through skilful & thoughtful strategy.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehension of the key metrics that impact and grow hospitality businesses, using this knowledge to drive top-line revenue and motivating your team to do the same.
