Strategic Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Director to join our team at UCSF Health, AG. As a key member of our Strategy and Business Development team, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue through strategic planning and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Collaborate with department physician and administrative leadership to develop and implement service line and geographic strategies, from concept to implementation.
- Project Management: Manage key projects to drive growth and revenue, including analyzing new market opportunities, developing outreach strategies, and provider arrangements.
- Strategic Analysis: Provide strategic analytical support across the continuum, including acute, non-hospital, and post-acute service providers, as well as a wide variety of physician groups.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Report directly to the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development and support the Chief Strategy Officer in his duties, working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across UCSF and outside organizations.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related area or four (4) years of relevant experience, with eight (8) years or more of relevant healthcare experience handling provider segments, strategic and business planning, market assessment, and basic finance/budget principles.
- Expertise and Skills: Expert knowledge of the principles, concepts, and strategies involved in successful strategic growth and business development, with highly developed critical-thinking and analytical skills to assess complex issues and sensitive situations and develop solutions.
- Leadership and Communication: Highly developed leadership skills to guide, influence, and motivate others, with expert ability to develop comprehensive reports and presentations, and highly advanced written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with impact.
