About the Role

The Director of Strategy and Impact is a pivotal senior leadership position that will lead a CHQ team in developing organisational strategy, driving integrated planning activities, supporting strategic portfolio management, and undertaking impact and evaluation relating to service and organisational models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop organisational strategic direction and associated priorities in collaboration with the Executive, Board, and senior leaders from across the organisation.
  • Lead and evolve a contemporary function that generates and utilises strategic insights and impact data to inform CHQ's strategic direction and prioritised programs and change initiatives.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with the Department's Clinical Planning and Service Strategy Division, other HHS's, and interstate paediatric providers to develop and leverage opportunities to integrate and inform planning of CHQ services.
  • Provide trusted, objective, evidence-informed advice on complicated challenges and how to deliver sustainable and locally-owned transformation and change.
  • Contribute to a talent pipeline of effective leaders through a commitment to inclusive team immersion, coaching, capability building, and skills development in others.
