About the Role

  • Take the lead in performance management, coaching leaders to build capability and ensure consistent outcomes.
  • Manage conflict resolution issues and employee disputes with professionalism, fairness, and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate and enhance HR programs, including inductions, employee learning/development, rewards and recognition initiatives etc.
  • Provide guidance on industrial and employee relations, including Award interpretation and compliance.
  • Support and facilitate learning and development programs to promote employee growth.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including the interpretation of psychometric assessments to support hiring decisions.

Requirements

  • A successful background and working experience within a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline is essential.
  • Knowledge of WHS practices and a history of supporting a safety-focused workplace.
  • Solid understanding of the industrial relations landscape in Australia, with demonstrated experience in employee relations and Award interpretation.
  • Strong experience in performance management, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, with high attention to detail and discretion.
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment, including the facilitation and interpretation of behavioural and cognitive assessments.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for supporting people and driving cultural improvement.
