Ebury is a dynamic FinTech firm recognized as one of the top 15 European Fintechs to work for by AltFi.

We offer a range of innovative products including FX risk management, trade finance, currency accounts, international payments and API integration.

Our Key Account Director will be responsible for promoting the growth of the Ebury brand in their country through targeted research and campaigns, focusing on larger SMEs to mid-level companies.

About the Role

  • Originate new business autonomously targeting Middle Market prospects with a strong focus on customer needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to cross-sell Ebury lending, cash management, FX hedging and payment products, leveraging relationships at senior levels within SMB customers.
  • Understand the client's business environments, strategies, and industry to provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Know and understand the competition's capabilities and gaps to better position Ebury's Banking solutions.
  • Promote sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments working closely with the country head.
  • Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support the Ebury strong client relationship/servicing culture through on-going customer contact, written call reports via Salesforce, quality customer service and superior product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Strong Financial Services sales experience and contacts network would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working in a commercial bank (one or several) selling to mid-size corporates coupled with experience in an environment different to a bank (this could be start-up vendor, FX specialist, cash management etc).
  • Knowledgeable of compliance requirements and familiar with local market conditions.
  • Ideal candidate should have a business/finance academic background.

  • Comfortable with a phone sales approach and first-class communication skills, able to win people's commitment and buy-in.
  • Able to develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment; presents key selling points, features, and benefits while focusing the message on customer needs and expectations.
  • Skilled negotiator, quick learner and strong analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field. Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
