Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Product Support Advisor to join our Tom Price team for an exciting new project.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to globally renowned major accounts and valued customers within the region.

As a brand ambassador, you will have the opportunity to promote Hitachi's service and parts components, ensuring total customer satisfaction and maintaining a high degree of service and support.

About You

  • Safety Commitment: You will be proactive and committed to Hitachi's number one priority – exercising a high standard of precaution and duty of care to yourself and others.
  • Technical Knowledge: You will be trusted to provide holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components for Hitachi's excavator fleet.
  • Project Coordination: You will be committed to meeting deadlines through planning and execution of shutdowns, working collaboratively with the Service Department to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Trade Qualified: You will have a minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or related heavy diesel qualifications or Certificate III in High Voltage Electrical Technology.
  • Leadership: You will positively enable the partnership by actively chasing improvement opportunities and timely resolution of queries.
  • Personable and Professional Communication Skills: You will possess strong communication and self-organization skills, planning and preparing relevant documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty, and diagnostic information.
