About the Role

At Tesla, we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Energy Sector Business Development Executive to join our team in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining client relationships, leading commercial negotiations of energy projects, and driving business growth in Western Australia's utility-scale storage market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and build sales pipelines in Western Australia's growing utility-scale storage market
  • Lead commercial negotiations of commercial and utility projects, working with cross-functional teams to compile Sales Agreements and Long Term Service Agreements for execution
  • Support Powerwall channel business growth in Western Australia through engagement with Channel Partners, Certified Installers, and local government
  • Support the Powerwall channel team in identifying new sales channels and segments for Powerwall and commercial negotiations and contracting
  • Provide support to policy and business development teams to expand Megapack and Powerwall markets in the region
  • Ensure internal systems are maintained with regards to opportunity details and other relevant project information
  • Proactively manage external and internal stakeholder engagement to achieve timely close-out of contracts

We require an experienced professional with a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance (technical background preferred), at least 4+ years commercial experience in B2B projects in the Australian energy sector, and expertise in negotiating Sales Agreements for energy-related products and services.

What We Offer

Tesla offers a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for career growth and professional development.
