Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Property Manager to enhance our operations. This position will be pivotal in delivering exceptional property management and leasing results within our retail portfolio, aligning with our client’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture relationships with landlords, sub-tenants, and clients to exceed service delivery expectations.
  • Act as the primary liaison for all communications with landlords and sub-tenants, ensuring proactive engagement for maintenance, capital improvements, and lease compliance.
  • Manage landlord interactions during critical situations to ensure swift resolutions.
  • Oversee and track all work orders related to landlord responsibilities, ensuring timely completion.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, health and safety regulations, and risk management protocols.
  • Administer landlord services through our management systems.
  • Maintain accurate lease information in our database, ensuring timely updates.
  • Manage property operating expenses, including budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Support the achievement of financial targets by ensuring timely payment of lease obligations.
  • Analyze monthly rent roll variances and provide insights on changes.
  • Assist in preparing regular portfolio management reports, highlighting property performance and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial property management with relevant certifications.
  • Experience in a high-volume environment with major landlords or retailers is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex issues under tight deadlines.
  • Strong focus on achieving performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
