Customer Retention Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Customer Retention Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in retaining existing customers and achieving sales targets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Retain existing customers and meet or exceed monthly LP Gas sales targets, including volume, margin, and product group objectives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and input data into the EWS system, ensuring seamless communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform sales strategies and optimize performance.
  • Identify opportunities to build load within the geographic area and collaborate with relevant personnel for effective follow-up and conversion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to re-sign customer accounts as they fall due, adhering to company procedures and Delegation of Authority (DOA) guidelines.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction, actively listening to concerns and addressing issues promptly to ensure long-term retention and loyalty.

What We Look For:

  • A minimum of two years of field sales experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • A valid driver's license is required; regular travel to client sites may be necessary.
  • A proven track record of success in customer retention, negotiation, and conflict management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
