Workshop Operations Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our team at Macro Recruitment. As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily workshop activities, ensuring optimal workflow and timely completion of service and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Coordinate Daily Workshop Activities: Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of service and repair tasks.
- Supervise and Mentor a Team: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and provide guidance and support to technicians.
- Monitor and Uphold Quality Standards: Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager: Optimize resource allocation and achieve departmental goals.
- Apply Technical Expertise: Assist technicians in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Requirements:
- Automotive Service Management Experience: Demonstrated experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background with an in-depth understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Organizational and Communication Skills: Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
- Leadership Qualities: Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Customer Service Commitment: A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Role Overview: As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring all work on vehicles in the dealership is carried out appropriately. This involves assigning work to vehicle technicians, liaising with service departments, and ensuring quality control, ordering parts, conducting audits on the team's work, and maintaining general compliance.
