The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Luxury Retail Operations Manager to join our Collins Street boutique team in Melbourne, Australia. This role reports directly to the Boutique Manager and is responsible for overseeing sales, management, operations, customer service, and leading the team. The key objective is to deliver exceptional customer service, motivate and train staff to meet monthly sales targets, and ensure general administration, merchandising, and inventory control tasks are executed efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Boutique Manager with operational tasks including rostering, e-commerce enquiries, e-reservations, general administration, staff training, inventory planning, and problem-solving within the boutique.
  • Support the Boutique Manager in motivating staff to optimize performance and achieve boutique sales targets.
  • Regularly review operational reports and records to ensure company policies and procedures are upheld.
  • Support the Customer Service area and handle all staffing, escalations, and operational issues correctly.
  • Reporting and stock control.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated retail experience, preferably in the luxury industry.
  • Highly developed and proven customer service skills.
  • Proven staff management, assistant management, or supervisory experience.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Team player.
  • Energy, drive, and enthusiasm.

Salary

A competitive salary of approximately $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
