About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Assistant Team Leader at our Swim School. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of our swim programs, ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Assist in training, supervising, and providing leadership to our swim school team to ensure they meet centre policies and industry guidelines.
  • Roster Management: Collaborate with the Team Leader to maintain an efficient and adequate staff roster for our GESAC and CMSP facilities.
  • Service Standards: Work closely with the Team Leader to maintain Service Improvement Standards in daily operations and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our members and parents on pool deck, serving as a liaison between staff, members, and parents.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong leadership skills, aquatic experience, and the ability to maintain safety standards in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience and achievement in the leisure industry or relevant tertiary qualifications.

The ideal candidate will also possess comprehensive customer service experience, provide First Aid with current CPR qualification, hold an Employee Working with Children Check, and a Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Certificate.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position requiring 15.2 hours per week of administrative tasks and a minimum of 7.6 hours up to 22.8 hours per week of direct service. You will report to the Swim School Team Leader and work collaboratively as part of our dynamic team.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of AU$45,000 - AU$60,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development, a supportive team environment, and a chance to make a positive impact in our community.
