About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a talented team of experts who are passionate about delivering exceptional results. As a Principal Technical Consultant, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive a first-class delivery service that meets their expectations and contractual agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client business needs and integrate client business strategies to recommend appropriate information technology solutions.
- Conduct analysis of corporate objectives, critical success factors, business functions, and processes.
- Plan, integrate, and manage the implementation of new technology.
- Support large, strategic, and/or multiple projects as one of the highest-level technical experts.
- Significantly support regional/product business development and sales support efforts for a particular territory, industry, or account.
- Assist customers with their implementation efforts to ensure successful product adoption.
- Anticipate implications and consequences of risks or business situations and take appropriate action to prepare for possible mitigation actions and/or contingencies.
- Act as a mentor, coach, or trainer to consultants by sharing business expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant studies.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable in the payments industry.
- Experience in BASE24 classic or BASE24-eps project implementation.
- Proficient in ISO 8583 message formats and Global Card Schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, etc.).
- Understands transaction security/EMV concepts and experience with HSMs like Thales, Eracom, Atalla.
- Extensive experience with card schemes simulators (VTS, Mastercard simulators, JTS, etc.).
- Experience with testing in large-scale projects involving ATMs (NCR, Diebold, etc.), POS (Hypercom) devices, and various global card schemes/switches.
- Excellent problem-solving skill.
