About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consulting Engineer to join our technical consulting team in Melbourne.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing ASX-listed company, providing expertise in the assessment, protection, repair, and service life extension of infrastructure and buildings.

The successful candidate will have 10-15 years of experience consulting in the assessment, protection, repair, and service life extension of infrastructure and buildings, with a strong background in structural or materials engineering.

  1. Conduct technical reviews, supervise, guide, and mentor staff to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  2. Lead the preparation of repair designs and specifications, and conduct site inspections, testing, and analysis.
  3. Develop materials durability assessments and planning, and design asset maintenance strategies.
  4. Work with our Spatial division to deliver 3D reality asset models for digital delivery of condition assessments and defect management.
  5. Prototype and trial innovative technology solutions to help deliver value to our company and clients.
  6. Help lead the digitisation of the business workflow by adopting and utilising new software.
  7. Project manage technical projects, write proposals, and develop business relationships with clients.

This role will require short-term travel to sites and other offices to fulfill project and business requirements.
