Workplace Injury Specialist

The Injury Management Advisor plays a pivotal role in implementing effective workers' compensation, health, and injury management strategies for the Defence and Social Infrastructure team.
This position is responsible for providing business units with expert guidance to address employee health effectively and identify factors that impact safe work participation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist coaching and consultation with sector stakeholders and shared services colleagues to facilitate optimal workers compensation and injury management outcomes.
- Coordinating claims, rehabilitation, and return-to-work activities within sectors to support employees with work-related injuries and/or non-work-related conditions.
- Developing and implementing case management strategies for workers compensation, health, and injury management matters to achieve optimal case resolution.
- Maintaining effective networks with treating doctors, insurers, and rehabilitation providers, including monitoring claim trends, costs, outstanding liability, and provision accounts.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in Allied Health or Safety, along with relevant accreditation, registration, and membership.
