The Workplace Injury Claims Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless management of workplace injury claims, providing support to injured workers, employers, and other stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality administrative services for WorkCover functions.
- Support the WHS & WorkCover Team as needed.
This position is responsible for the end-to-end management of workplace injury claims, including return-to-work planning, payroll processing, document upload, remittance, and invoicing. The successful candidate will assist injured workers in returning to work as soon as possible while monitoring claim progress and employee recovery. A key aspect of this role is maintaining detailed records throughout the claim duration.
Key Qualifications:- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management/WHS or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Solid knowledge of Accident Compensation Legislation.
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills and general PC use.
- A team player with self-motivation, persistence, tactfulness, and persuasiveness.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
