About This Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Receptionist/Contact Centre Agent to join our team at I-MED Radiology in Hornsby with occasional travel to our Chatswood clinic.

Role Overview:

This is a full-time, permanent position with 7.5 hour shifts scheduled Monday to Friday between the core hours of 6:45am-9pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Efficiently manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
  • Handle patient enquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
  • Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Assist patients with general inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
  • Provide empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions.
  • Document call details accurately in our system.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to multitask, with strong organisational skills to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with patients over the phone.
