About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Support Coordinator to join our team at I-MED Radiology Network.

This is a full-time, permanent position with 7.5 hour shifts scheduled Monday - Friday between the core hours of 6:45am-9pm. The successful candidate will be working in our Hornsby clinic with occasional travel to Chatswood.

Role Overview:

This is a unique opportunity to work as both a Medical Receptionist and Contact Centre Agent. As a Medical Support Coordinator, you'll be the friendly face at our clinic reception desk and the voice on the other end of the phone. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients warmly, managing appointment bookings and cancellations, handling patient enquiries and maintaining accurate information, keeping patient records up to date and assisting with administrative tasks.

Additionally, you'll also be responsible for answering incoming calls promptly, assisting patients with general inquiries, providing empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions, documenting call details accurately in our system and collaborating with other contact centre agents to meet service level targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is highly advantageous.
  • You'll need excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
  • A strong ability to multitask, organisational skills and patience when dealing with patients over the phone are essential.
