Medical Office Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at I-MED Radiology. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Role OverviewThis is a unique opportunity for a Dual Role - Medical Receptionist/Contact Centre Agent to work in both clinical and administrative settings. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting patients warmly and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Efficiently managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Handling patient enquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Maintaining patient records and assisting with administrative tasks.
- Collaborating with our clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
In addition to your medical reception duties, you will also be working as a Contact Centre Agent, where you will:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist patients with general inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Provide empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions.
- Document call details accurately in our system.
- Collaborate with other contact centre agents to meet service level targets.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask, with strong organizational skills to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with patients over the phone.
