We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the position of Medical Receptionist/Contact Centre Agent at I-MED Radiology Hornsby with occasional travel to Chatswood clinic.
This is a full-time, permanent role with 7.5 hour shifts scheduled Monday - Friday between 6:45am-9pm core hours.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling as well as handling patient enquiries ensuring accurate information is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently.
- Handle patient enquiries and provide accurate information.
- Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Assist patients with general inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.
- Provide empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions.
- Document call details accurately in our system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to multitask with strong organizational skills to effectively work in a fast-paced environment.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with patients over the phone.
