About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Casual Workforce Planning expert to join our team as a Casual Workforce Planning Specialist. This role will play a critical part in establishing and leading the Game Development casual workforce strategy, supporting casual leaders and deployment teams with casual workforce management and workforce planning across the Game Development business unit.

As a subject matter expert in casual workforce management and the Deputy time and attendance platform, you will lead strategic initiatives, provide hands-on support with rostering, and ensure best practice workforce planning.

This new position provides the exceptional opportunity for a pragmatic and dynamic individual with strong technical and practical experience working with a large and complex casual workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business unit workforce planning strategy that aligns with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Play a hands-on role and actively collaborate with and support all casual people leaders and deployment teams across the business unit.
  • Create and embed a suite of workforce planning principles and frameworks suitable for the grassroots and program delivery environment.
  • Be the subject matter expert across the business unit for the Deputy time and attendance system.
  • Assist relevant departments and local deployment teams to develop forecasts and plans for near- and long-term hiring needs.
  • Translate complex workforce data into actionable insights tailored for different audiences.
  • Monitor, review, and generate complex reporting on resource allocation to identify opportunities.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and cost savings within the workforce.
  • Deliver rostering solutions and collaborate with internal stakeholders to encourage workforce effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience leading workforce management and planning across a complex casual workforce in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated history of establishing and implementing a fit-for-purpose workforce planning strategy.
  • In-depth experience and understanding of the Deputy time and attendance platform.
  • Strong skills in workforce data analysis, strategic workforce planning, and effective rostering practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legislative requirements including Award and NES requirements as it relates to casual engagement.
Salary Range

$110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
