The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead our Regulated Infrastructure team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of key strategies, growth, and capabilities of the team, delivering outcomes across the organization.

In this role, you will manage a high-performing team of Project Managers and Administrative team members, working closely with Project Sponsors and key business stakeholders to proactively manage budgets and ensure that activities and investments align with the organization's financial objectives.

Success in this role is defined by demonstrating impactful and influential leadership, fostering strong engagement and a positive culture within the function, effectively collaborating across the business and with external contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of functional activities to support the achievement of ElectraNet's business goals and objectives.

About You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in portfolio and project management, commercial operations, and leadership. You will have a proven track record of adding value to the business by providing strategic and operational guidance, and a strong knowledge of commercially focused project solutions within a highly complex regulated environment.

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups, and demonstrated leadership to inspire, motivate, mentor, and develop employees to be engaged, accountable, and achieve best-practice in their respective disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and capabilities of the Regulated Infrastructure team
  • Lead a high-performing team of Project Managers and Administrative team members
  • Work closely with Project Sponsors and key business stakeholders to proactively manage budgets and ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Foster strong engagement and a positive culture within the function
  • Effectively collaborate across the business and with external contractors and stakeholders
  • Ensure the successful execution of functional activities to support the achievement of ElectraNet's business goals and objectives
