The Opportunity
The Manager Regulated Portfolio is a critical leadership role that requires strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and strong leadership skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of key strategies, growth, and capabilities of the Regulated Portfolio team, delivering outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
As a Manager Regulated Portfolio, you will:
- Lead a high-performing team of Project Managers and Administrative staff
- Work closely with Project Sponsors and key business stakeholders to manage budgets and ensure alignment with organizational financial objectives
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth and capabilities of the Regulated Portfolio team
- Ensure the successful delivery of the regulated infrastructure portfolio, including the capital works program
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant technical or management field, or a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience in adding value to the business through strategic and operational guidance, portfolio and project management
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing and delivering commercially focused project solutions in a highly complex regulated environment
- Sound commercial focus and understanding of key business drivers in considering risk and opportunity in commercial decision making
- Knowledge of HV, substation, and transmission performance and operation, National Electricity Rules, Transmission Codes, and relevant standards
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, motivate, mentor, and develop employees to achieve best-practice in their respective disciplines
