Job Title: Business Development and Proposal Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Business Development and Proposal Coordinator. This role involves coordinating the development of high-quality tender proposals, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high standard in tender proposals, maintaining a flexible and diverse bid library, and working closely with the Communications team to keep tender templates and messaging current.

This role requires strong written communication skills, project management abilities, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will also have a Bachelor's degree in Business or Commerce, or equivalent experience in a comparable role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of tender proposals, ensuring a consistently high standard;
  • Build and maintain a flexible and diverse bid library;
  • Work with the Communications team to keep tender templates and messaging current;
  • Engage key stakeholders from other departments to ensure timely input into submissions;
  • Source and coordinate design input with Communications to ensure visual standards are met;
  • Ensure tenders and proposals meet all relevant specifications and client requirements;
  • Coordinate the review process for tenders, engaging senior management and technical specialists;
  • Undertake market and competitor analysis and develop quarterly reports to inform growth opportunities;
  • Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations;

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce or similar, or experience in a comparable role, coordinating and preparing tenders or proposals;
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Experience undertaking commercial analyses, including use of high-level modelling tools, as well as the preparation of written reports for senior management;
