As a seasoned Bid Manager, you will oversee the entire bidding life cycle. This entails planning, developing, and delivering client-focused solutions that meet sector growth targets.

The role requires strategic thinking to develop and deliver responses through commercially focussed tenders and bids. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing and leading the Bid Support Team, utilizing and optimizing bid processes at every stage of proposal development.

You will work closely with teams throughout the business to develop innovative solutions and commercial offers. Liaising with leaders is also crucial to ensure all opportunities are appropriately resourced. Your expertise in bid governance processes will be vital in managing the bid lodgement process and acting as the central point of contact for bid requests from sales and operations teams.

Your writing, editing, reviewing, and management of bid content will play a key role in crafting compelling bid responses. Continuously improving our bid processes and tools is essential to streamline bid preparation and improve submission quality.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A degree qualification and a minimum of 3 years' experience
  • Bid management experience on large complex bids within the contract catering and soft services industry is beneficial
  • The ability to develop client-oriented solutions creatively and profitably
  • A strong leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire people from diverse cultures and motivations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at senior management/executive level
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with multiple stakeholders (e.g., customers, owners, colleagues, suppliers, corporate)
