Aware Super is a leading profit-for-members superannuation fund, dedicated to reimagining a new way forward for our 1.1 million members and their communities. We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Service Officer to join our team in Gosford.

About the Role

As a Client Service Officer, you'll be the face of Aware Super to our members and clients, providing exceptional service and support. You'll work collaboratively with our Financial Planners, Implementation Specialists, and other internal stakeholders to deliver top-notch administrative support. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the basics of financial advice and grow your career in a leading super fund.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure daily administration and data entry tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  2. Respond to client inquiries, whether in person, through written correspondence, or via phone.
  3. Provide crucial administrative support to our Financial Planners, assisting with tasks such as Record of Advice (ROAs) and diary management for client appointments.
  4. Verify client transaction requests are complete and follow up with clients for any outstanding items before submitting them to our Member Solutions Team for processing.
  5. Adhere to our internal procedures and guidelines while working collaboratively with your team to provide support as needed.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual with experience working in a similar role within the financial services industry. Experience in Client Services in financial planning or para-planning will be highly regarded.

Requirements

  1. Excellent communication skills and a good phone manner.
  2. Strong attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding client service.
  3. Commitment to work on-site Monday-Friday between the operational hours of 8:45 am- 5:15 pm.
  4. Passion for interacting with clients face-to-face, and assisting them with general queries.
  5. A proactive and solution-focused approach, to help meet the needs of our clients and members while growing your career in a leading super fund.
