Overview

Ventia is a leading provider of infrastructure services, and we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to join our team.

About the Role

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities of a geographical region, ensuring performance objectives are achieved. This will involve working closely with clients to develop and maintain a healthy, trusted relationship and driving business outcomes through collaboration and continuous improvements.

You will provide strong leadership through example, achieving the business' KPIs as per the Contract. A key aspect of this role will be to develop a strong team with a focus on a collaborative, customer-centric, safety culture.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational activities across multiple sites and time zones, ensuring performance objectives are met
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to drive business outcomes and achieve contract KPIs
  • Lead the development of strategic plans and ensure their effective implementation
  • Manage financial and commercial performance, including cash flow, capital expenditure/disposals, costing, and expense control
  • Ensure compliance with Defence policy and procedures

  • Demonstrated experience managing technical staff, subcontractors, and client relationships
  • Proven ability to lead teams and implement change initiatives
  • Strong commercial acumen, including financial management and risk analysis
  • Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Quality practices and standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
