About Our Client & The Role

Our client is a leading company in the FMCG industry, committed to delivering high-quality products and fostering innovation. They are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead their Shared Services team and drive operational success across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, ensuring KPIs are met and driving continuous improvement.
  • Manage the Trade Assets team, ensuring accurate records and cost minimization.
  • Lead the Masterdata & Claims team, focusing on customer masterdata, pricing accuracy, trade spend promotional set-up, and claim approvals.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation and workflow management to support key activities, including system issue resolution and reporting for the sales team.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, driving process improvements across teams.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring and supporting team growth.
  • Maintain and enhance key systems to support operations.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior shared services management role, specifically in Order to Cash, within a medium to large organization.
  • FMCG industry experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team development.
  • Proven success in driving process improvements and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Knowledge of masterdata management, trade spend promotional set-up, pricing, and claim approvals.
  • Accounting qualification desired.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive problem solver who can understand the flow of information to systematically and successfully troubleshoot multiple issues.
