Seeking Experienced Psychiatrist for Perinatal Mental Health Services

  • We are seeking an experienced and skilled psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team providing specialist psychiatric care to women and their families during the perinatal period.
  • This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per fortnight, based at Blacktown, Sydney.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in perinatal and infant mental health and research, as well as working with disadvantaged communities.
Job Description:

In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to women and their families, working under the direction of the Manager and as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for providing secondary perinatal and infant mental health consultation and liaison, as well as clinical education and training for Raphael Services clinicians.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current specialist medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
  • Experience in perinatal and infant mental health and research
  • Experience working with disadvantaged communities
