Psychiatric Specialist Provider
Your role is to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to women and their families during the perinatal period up until the index child is four years of age with compassion that empowers individuals, families and communities.
The Role Overview- You will be providing specialist psychiatric services in line with the Raphael Services Model of Care and relevant legislation and professional standards.
- Secondary perinatal and infant mental health consultation and liaison are also key aspects of this role.
- Clinical education, training and development of clinicians, trainees and students as appropriate are further responsibilities.
- Partnership working with other relevant health services and agencies is crucial in the development, implementation and evaluation of initiatives related to perinatal and infant mental health.
- As a specialist medical practitioner, you must maintain current registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- A Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists is also a requirement.
- Experience or interest in perinatal and infant mental health, alongside experience working with disadvantaged groups, is highly valued.
