Perinatal Psychologist/Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking clinical psychologists or accredited mental health social workers to deliver face-to-face psychological support at a specialist perinatal clinic. This clinic provides individual, couple and parent-infant therapies to women experiencing or at risk of developing perinatal depressive, anxiety and trauma or stressor-related disorders.

The Role:

Our team offers flexible working arrangements and administrative support. Clinicians work with women through Medicare's Better Access initiative, receiving the affiliated Medicare rebate for their services. The successful candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy relevant to expectant and new parents with perinatal mental health issues.

Essential Requirements:
  • AHPRA registration with endorsements in psychology or accreditation as a mental health social worker
  • At least 3 years post-registration experience, with specific experience working with perinatal clients or in a complementary field
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a recovery-oriented model, utilising a person/family-centred approach
  • High level communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
