About the Role

We are seeking experienced individuals to join our housekeeping team at Holy Cross, a 102-bed Aged Care home. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in residents' rooms and common areas by tidying, organising lounges, dining areas, offices, and storage areas
  • Ensure efficient removal of rubbish and restock bathroom supplies daily
  • Implement infection prevention and control procedures to safeguard residents' health and well-being
Laundry Responsibilities

In addition to cleaning duties, you will also assist with laundry services including:

  • Collecting, washing, folding, and distributing residents' clothing and personal laundry items
  • Labelling and storing clothing to prevent loss or mix-ups
  • Maintaining linen supplies and ensuring laundry areas are clean and organised
  • Ironing residents' clothing and table linen as required
