Job Title: Elderly Caregiver

As an elderly caregiver, you will play a vital part in providing person-centered care, promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing, and supporting them to maintain their independence and dignity.

The job requires providing individualized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for residents. The role also involves supporting residents to engage in meaningful activities and hobbies, and assisting them to participate in community events and outings.

  • Provide one-on-one support to residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care is provided to residents.
  • Support residents to maintain their physical health, safety, and well-being.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, and provide support with medication management.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
