Personal Care Specialist

Job Opportunity:
- In-home aged care support workers deliver services to frail elderly individuals in their homes, providing life-enriching supports that enable clients to maintain their sense of independence and wellbeing.
- We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals who genuinely want to make a positive impact in the lives of our aged care clients.
About the Role:
- Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or willingness to obtain
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Proof of double COVID-19 vaccinations
- Previous experience working with elderly people, individuals with dementia, and complex needs
- Experience in monitoring clients and reporting behavioral or health changes
- Experience with providing personal care, including the use of mobility aids
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety issues and risk management for client home-based care and during transport of clients
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide high-quality care and support to elderly clients in their homes
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent client outcomes
- To maintain accurate records and reports of client care and progress
