About the Role:

The Director of Transformation and Innovation is a pivotal senior leadership position at Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS).

This role will lead and evolve a contemporary function that cultivates a culture of curiosity and innovation across the organization, developing the tools, resources, structures, and partnerships required to tackle strategic problems and support CHQ's workforce in improving and transforming the way services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient and effective redesign of models of care, operating models, digital workflows, and processes.
  • Shaping policy, research, technology, and funding developments that support CHQ's strategic ambitions.
  • Leveraging an in-depth understanding of improvement, innovation, and change methodologies to build and maintain key relationships with HHS's, universities, and industry partners, and cross-government agencies to develop and test changes to ensure a sustainable pediatric healthcare system across Queensland.

About the Team:

The Strategy and Transformation Division is a dynamic support function that leads and enables critical strategic and transformation initiatives across the HHS and broader statewide pediatric network.

We are a team that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a growth mindset, applying evidence-based methodologies across the complex healthcare context.
