Job Opportunity: Associate Director Talent & Executive Management

This pivotal position requires a highly skilled HR professional with expertise in talent acquisition, mobility programs, and executive management within the NSW Government. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach, guiding their team while actively contributing to operational processes and strategic projects.

  • Oversee talent acquisition, mobility, and executive management across a complex portfolio.
  • Manage the department's mobility program, guiding employees through placements and transitions while ensuring alignment with sector policies.
  • Provide expert advice on executive employment and remuneration, including approvals, role changes, and governance requirements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives such as building future-ready talent pools, introducing assessment centers, and strengthening the capability of hiring managers and internal teams.
  • Lead external vendor relationships and support organisational change initiatives with practical, innovative workforce solutions.
  • Utilize workforce insights to anticipate challenges and deliver outcomes that strengthen talent across the department.
