We are seeking a Senior Development Manager with a strong planning background to drive rezoning and major development initiatives from concept through to approval.

Base pay range

A$200,000.00/yr - A$280,000.00/yr

The Role:

  • Shaping rezoning strategies – Prepare and deliver Planning Proposals and rezoning applications across NSW & VIC.
  • Leading the process end-to-end – Manage projects from acquisition through rezoning approvals, budgets, consultants, and reporting.
  • Driving stakeholder engagement – Build trusted relationships with councils, government agencies, landowners, and community groups.
  • Managing risk & feasibility – Provide insight on planning risks, legislation changes, and development potential.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Property Development, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in development with a focus on rezoning and planning approvals.
  • Deep knowledge of NSW planning legislation, frameworks, LEPs & SEPPs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proven track record of securing complex planning approvals.
  • Work on high-profile rezoning and strategic land-use projects shaping communities across NSW & VIC.
